Some words of wisdom that took me a long time to figure out.

Women don’t nude model, strip, do sex-work, or appear in porn for men. Nor for women. Not for boyfriends, girlfriends, society, or individuals. They do it because they want to. They’re not catering to a demand. They didn’t decide, “you know, there’s just not enough naked women on this planet” ’cos god knows there is more than enough. They do it because they want to. Because they like to. Because they are sexual and they have no problem expressing their sexuality, being who they are. It takes a lot of courage for some girls to put themselves out there like that knowing full well that people won’t accept what they’re going to do. But just because you don’t want to be a stripper, or you don’t understand why some one else shoots porn does NOT mean you get to determine whether or not she should or can do it. 

I just want to say that 2 years ago I was on the other side of this argument: I thought I would never nude model because I didn’t see the demand in it, and I thought that a lot of the girls did it for attention (although I never believed they shouldn’t be naked, hell, I love me naked women). But then I realized that they really just enjoy doing it. It’s fun. And now I nude model once in a while, and I don’t do it for guys to jerk off to me or for my friends to see me naked or to impress anyone, I do it ‘cos I like my body and I like being naked. And I’m tired of the beautiful models that I follow getting harassed for just doing something they enjoy.
